ABOUT
I'm a full stack engineer who likes owning a feature from the first sketch to the production dashboards.
For the past two years I've been building Globoplay, the streaming platform of Grupo Globo, Latin America's largest media company, with 30M monthly active users. Some things I shipped there:
- World Cup Mode, a toggle that reshapes the whole app around the 2026 World Cup, used by 1M+ people during the tournament.
- Vertical "micro dramas", launched in 30 days across web, mobile and TV, reaching 500k+ users at launch.
- Search autocomplete, new ad formats, and a legacy-service migration that saves $9k a year.
Before that I worked on a church management SaaS used by 3,000+ churches, and on the in-house platform of a contact center serving brands like Santander, Claro and Carrefour. As a contractor, I took a business platform from unversioned shared hosting to Dockerized staging and production with monitoring.
In 2025 my team won 1st place out of 26 at Dunamis Create Hack. The product, FaithTrail, is now in Bluefields' acceleration program.
Stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Next.js, NestJS, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, Jest, Playwright. Currently learning Go.

Globoplay (Grupo Globo), via Storm Group
Full Stack Engineer
Streaming platform of Grupo Globo, Latin America's largest media company: 30M monthly active users and a unified GraphQL backend serving web, mobile and Smart TV at peaks of ~300k requests/second.
- Led frontend for World Cup Mode, a platform-wide toggle that reshapes the whole app around 2026 World Cup content; engaged 1M+ users during the tournament. Used Redux, custom hooks and feature flags so only affected components re-render, with no full-page reload.
- Shipped vertical "micro dramas" across web, mobile and TV in 30 days, the first Brazilian streaming platform with this format, reaching 500k+ users at launch. Redesigned the GraphQL schema, rewrote Apollo queries for a dynamic feed and built a resolver that shuffles titles while keeping episode order.
- Built search autocomplete and new non-intrusive ad formats, improving content discovery and expanding monetization without hurting the viewing experience.
- Cut $9k/year in infrastructure cost by decommissioning a legacy service and migrating its logic into an existing microservice.
- Ship with Jest and Playwright tests, CI/CD and observability in Grafana and New Relic (including dashboards and alerts); review code and work daily with product, UX and infrastructure.

Business consulting platform (Apr - Aug 2026)
- Audited the platform end to end against a partner's certification checklist (security, standards, containerization, architecture, Git workflow) and delivered a remediation plan.
- Moved the app from unversioned shared hosting to a VPS with Docker-based local, staging and production environments behind Nginx, with Git Flow and documented architecture.
- Added uptime and RabbitMQ queue monitoring with UptimeRobot and Telegram alerts; shipped to production, validated with users and delivered the certification package in under 4 months.

- Built WhatsApp customer-service chatbot flows and PHP features, working remotely with UK stakeholders.

- Built features and maintained a large codebase spanning legacy (AngularJS, PHP 5/Yii) and modern stacks (Angular, Next.js, NestJS, Node.js), plus a cross-platform mobile app (Ionic).
- Turned support tickets and client requests into shipped features, working with UI/UX and stakeholders in agile ceremonies.

- Built and integrated SOAP and REST APIs in PHP for the in-house platform behind every client operation; debugged legacy code in production.
- Supervised and mentored a support analyst, who later moved into a developer role; ran the support queue on Kanban.
- Wrote technical documentation for internal teams and client stakeholders.
Earlier (2018 - 2021): Chatbot Script Designer, QA and Customer Support. Designed conversational decision trees for a customer-service chatbot.
PROJECTS
FaithTrail
1st place out of 26 teams (100+ participants) at Dunamis Create Hack 2025 with a React MVP that simulates a native mobile experience in the browser. One of 5 engineers: owned key frontend decisions and ran the user research that shaped the product. Still active after the hackathon, now in beta with real users and in Bluefields' acceleration program.
